Rydal Park & Waters, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Nutrition Care Supervisor to join our team!

Under general supervision of the Registered Dietitian (RD), the NCS promotes health and wellness in an effort to prevent disease. The NCS supports food service activities and departmental functions to assure that the delivery of nutritional care effectively and efficiently meets the needs of residents. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

This position is Full Time, 11a-7:30p.

Rate:

$20.00-$28.00, depending on experience.

This position requires every-other weekend and holiday rotation availability.

To be successful in this role, you would:

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to include screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation, and the resident plan of care.
• Advises the dining department on resident care and meal service matters as well as conducts meal rounds per company protocols.
• Assists with the planning of menus regarding nutrition, regulatory compliance, general resident population preferences, and wellness trends/initiatives.
• Works with Registered Dietitian to monitor all diet changes to insure compliance.
• Serves as a liaison between resident and dining services by carrying out RD recommendations.
• Collaborate with RD to ensure that menus and departmental policies conform to nutritional standards, government regulations and internal procedures.
